Usually order to my job. 3 Leches smelled funny and tasted like spoiled milk. Other than that the burger was good.

I love the food from banana king the only problem is that it’s gotten expensive. I remember I used to com in here and eat good, now I come in here and everything is expensive and smaller portions. But I do have to admit, the place is nice and clean and the staff is great.

First of all this place it's horrible. Had a cuban sandwich with a lemonade. The lemonade was bitter and the cuban sandwich was disgusting I couldn't eat it. Don't waste your money I spent $19 dollars and throw the food away

I am a big fan of Banana King and I have been going to Paterson locations for years. I recently moved near Elizabeth so I’ve came here around 5 times. I spent around $40 today on a strawberry shake, mango/passion fruit shake, Papa wings barbecue, salchipapa & a chicken empanada. My friend asked for a Colombian empanada and even pointed to it at the display case, specifying he wanted that kind. I also specified to the woman who took our order I wanted barbecue sauce on my fries as well , not just the wings and she said okay. Once we got our food and opened it at home, we were given the wrong empanada, a regular one instead of Colombian and there was barely any barbecue sauce on my wings, nevertheless the fries. I was really disappointed!. The lady rushed our order so for $40 I’m not pleased. I’m also surprised it’s now $1.75 extra for Strawberry flavored shake, which was not a thing for this franchise in the past and we weren’t told it would be extra. Not pleased today. I’ve been a fan of Banana King for years but this location needs to do better. I would rather take the extra drive in Paterson, to the new business “It’s Waoo”, this was upsetting.

Very disappointed in the quality and quantity. I've been going to Banana King since well over 15 years ago and boy has everything gone downhill. I just found out they changed the fish sandwich. It used to be on a pressed Cuban bread with real fried fish, now it's a mostly breaded on a bun frozen fish, that cost ne about $8 and was burnt and mostly bread, that's even worse than McDonald's fish sandwich. Their chicken sandwich also tasted very fake, frozen, and lackluster. Even their green hot sauce changed and also tastes cheap. They used to ha r the best green hot sauce with oil, freshly ground hot green peppers, now it has more vinegar and just tastes cheap. Will not be going back there anymore. Workers were nice though. 👍
